Wisteria trellis at Buzoji temple in Chikushino city
Though the image of cherry blossom is still deeply impressed on our minds, spring is also the season in which wisteria flowers bloom in Kyushu in Japan. The Wisteria on the trellis at Buzoji temple (near Futsukaichi hot spring) is said to be older than 1,300 years.
How about to join the “Wisteria Festival” held on April 29 every year, and enjoy the beauty and fragrance of enchanting wisteria flowers at Buzoji?
“Buzouji temple” is the oldest temple in Kyushu in Japan. It is said that the temple was built in 645.
